A spin-off of the University of Perugia participated by FBK-irst, one of the most advanced RF-MEMS foundry in Europe. RF Microtech is the result of the last ten years of leading research activities carried out by the group of Prof. Roberto Sorrentino, now proposing itself as a centre of excellence in the area of microwave circuit design and antennas, with an outstanding expertise in RF/microwave technologies from waveguide to MICs, including innovative technologies such as LTCC and RF-MEMS.

RF Microtech has developed a powerful CAD tool for flat scanning antennas based on slotted waveguide technology (SWAN – www.swan-soft.com)

In addition RF Microtech provides consultancy and custom design and fabrication of RF MEMS devices and MEMS-based tuneable circuits, electronically scanning/reconfigurable array antennas, microwave sensors for industrial applications, active and passive microwave components such as filters, diplexers, couplers, BFN’s and LNA’s.
