CST invites you to a FREE one-day seminar series focused on successful design using the latest 3D electromagnetic simulation software.

This workshop will provide an opportunity for users of CST’s products to present and discuss their work to a wide audience of interested parties.

09:45 –10:00: Introduction An introduction into the scope and focus of CST's 2010 Workshop Series

10:00 – 10:30: Antenna Simulation Modern antenna design requires a variety of tools to achieve the most efficient solution. Depending on the antenna type, one technique may be more applicable than another. Other considerations include optimization, sensitivity, and matching. CST STUDIO SUITE™ 2010 addresses all of these challenges in a single, convenient and easy to use package. These capabilities will be presented with a variety of demonstrations along the way.

10:30 - 10:50: Customer Talk (TBA)

10:50 – 11:15: Break

11:15 - 11:45: Sensitivity and Yield Analysis When virtual prototyping with 3D EM tools, sensitivity and yield analysis was traditionally impractical due to the large number of simulations required. New advances in CST STUDIO SUITE™ 2010 has not only made this possible, but also extremely efficient. This capability will be presented in the form of a real world application example.

11:45 - 12:15: Mobile Phone and SAR Simulation The complexity and functionality in modern mobile phones is continually being enhanced which drives increased demand on the tools used during their design. CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS) has risen to this challenge at every step of the way…from pre-processing and geometry import to simulating entire mobile phones to SAR and Diversity Gain. This presentation will be a testament to the capacity of CST MWS for these demanding tasks in the form of a real world mobile phone example.
