Antenna Magus - Licensing

There are two versions of Antenna Magus downloadable through our website, the evaluation and the professional version. Antenna Magus Professional is the full version of Antenna Magus. For the installation of this version a license key is required. This version is not intended for evaluation. An evaluation version of Antenna Magus can be found here.

Licensing and Maintainance & Support

Magus offers only node locked licenses. Additional licenses per site can be obtained without any additional license fee. Only annual Maintenance & Support (M&S) will increase per additional license. M&S is 25% of the official list price and allows access to latest updates, upgrades and technical support.

Antenna Magus supports Windows XP Professional SP2 32-bit and x64, Windows Vista Business 32-bit and x64 and Windows Server 2003 operating systems.

Antenna Magus licenses are updated automatically. New licenses are automatically retrieved over the internet. Thus the user never has to worry about license expiry as long as the license M&S is up to date.

Add Licenses for Free

If your site already purchased an Antenna Magus license, additional licenses can be added for free!

Additional licenses can be added and used within a site under the following conditions:

A perpetual license must already have been purchased for the site and have a current M&S contract in place.

Additional licenses can be activated at any time during the annual M&S cycle of the first license.

Unlike a perpetual licence, additional licences are made available at no initial cost. The license is effectively sold for 100% license discount including free M&S until the end of the first license's M&S contract.

At the anniversary of the M&S contract for the first license, additional M&S contracts for each additional licence need to be purchased. If no contract is taken out, the additional licence will be revoked and Antenna Magus will stop working on the additional nodes where it was installed.

It is considered an abuse of the system to add additional licences under this discount policy and then not take out M&S contracts for them. Should this occur, the site will no longer be eligible for additional licences under this discount policy.

Note that sites can purchase multiple perpetual licenses and do not have to add additional licenses under this discount policy.

Example:

A site buys a first license 01 January 20XX. It adds two additional licenses in June 20XX which requires no initial payment. The site can continue to use these licenses for free until 31 December 20XX. On the 31 December, the site is quoted for M&S for the first license and the two additional licenses.
