Abstract:
Design of a 35GHz conformal microstrip patchantenna 4×4 elements array on a perfectly conducting cone is presented. A new kind of microstrip feed approach, which is hemline feed method (HFM), is used to design the patch element. And this kind of elements is used for forming the conformal microstrip array. The influence of the conical curvature on the radiation features of the conformal antenna array is discussed. Simulations by the CST MICROWAVE STUDIO are given to
verify this present design.
