Abstract:
A Multibeam Antenna for 3-D surveillance Radar requires Cosecant Squared beam in elevation to extend the Radar coverage to high elevation angles, and a narrow beam with very low sidelobe level in Azimuth to avoid Jamming and to get better Clutter performance. Present paper describes a computer-aided design of a Linear Array in S-band, with stripline power divider fed Triplate Dipole as antenna element. The antenna has peak power handling capability of more than 15 Kw with a peak sidelobe level of the order of –31 dB or less.
