Abstract:
We present the design and verify the performance of an optical cylindrical cloak formed by concentric arrays of cylindrical dielectric resonators from GeSbSe chalcogenide glass. The dimensions of the resonators in all layers of the cloak shell are equal and provide excitation of the magnetic resonance for TE wave incidence at wavelengths of about 1 micron. The radial placement of resonators is em-ployed to obtain the spatial dispersion of the effective permeability due to an increased fraction of the air filled volume in the layers located further away from the centre of the cloak. Full-wave simula-tions are performed for the actual cloak structure composed of 3D subwavelength resonators over the entire frequency range of the effective parameter dispersion. The effects of coupling between the resonators are strictly accounted for
