Abstract:
A mix of top down and bottom up design, modeling and simulation of Ka band transceiver using ADS, for duplex linkage of multimedia signals to the satellite, has been described in this paper. Electrical imperfections of the circuit like non-linearity, gain compression, mixer inter modulation, spurious noise, harmonic level, gain/ level variation over the frequency band have been simulated for the prediction of the performance.
