Abstract:
This paper presents low cost antennas for the use as excitation of reverberation chambers. The antennas are designed with respect to the different requirements for the usage in reverberation chambers on the basis of simulations. Furthermore, different design-variations are analyzed. The calculated results are compared to measurements in a semi-anechonic chamber as well as in a reverberation chamber. Additionally, field-strength measurements with the presented antenna as exciter are compared to those made with a commercial logarithmicperiodical antenna.
