Abstract:
The paper presents principle and design of multireflector antennas. The structure consists of printed dipole antenna and cascaded planar reflectors made with the technology of frequency selective surfaces.
Several types of frequency selective surfaces used as reflectors are compared in the paper to achieve best suiting properties. Also different modifications of printed dipole antenna including one with fractal elements are described and discussed. Feeding and the impedance matching are performed using standard wideband balun.
