This paper presents the results of electromagnetic fields measurements outside and inside a shielded room designed for biomedical signal recording. We have estimated the electromagnetic field attenuation of the shielding room and have compared the results: obtained by measuring the background fields due to RF radio and television transmitters, base station for mobile communication; obtained by generating and measuring the electromagnetic fields; obtained by electromagnetic simulations using CST software
