This paper presents a sub-harmonic mixer (SHM), where a substrate
integrated waveguide (SIW) filter is embedded to achieve better image frequency
suppression and low conversion loss. With a two cavities SIW filter, 38.2dB image
frequency suppression and 6.9dB conversion loss are achieved.
