In this paper, we present an original ray tube launching and tracking technique. It is based on the discretized Plane Wave Spectrum (PWS) of source fields. This technique is well suited to compute fields in contexts where multiple reflections have to be taken into account. The validity of the method is demonstrated in the case of wave propagation in open-ended waveguides and cavities.
