Abstract:
Nonresonant slotted waveguides with two different polarizations have been designed as feeding systems for 2.45 GHz microwave applicators. Very good power coupling efficiency of manufactured slotted waveguide antennas was confirmed by measurements. Numerical calculations and preliminary near field measurements have proved a desired homogeneous radiation along the slotted waveguides.
