Abstract:
This paper presents design and development of a Wide Band, Low Profile and Low Loss Air-Dielectric Stripline Power Divider serving as an Elevation Beamformer for L-band Antenna Array. This array is intended to have a shaped beam (cosec2) radiation pattern for surveillance applications. The power divider has been designed using ADS and CST Microwave Studio packages. The measured and simulated power division values have shown a close agreement.
