Abstract:
This work carries out a thorough study of the advantages of using general load matching networks in two and three coil systems. The presented theoretical analysis helps to understand the impact and application of each of the following approaches: adjusting the impedance seen from the load, using additional resonant coils or using both techniques together. A proof of concept system was optimized using a matching network and simulated, showing that the efficiency is improved compared to the case of commonly used resonating structures.
