New link to be demonstrated at MTT-S IMS 2005, Long Beach, CA
Computer Simulation Technology (CST) announced a breakthrough in the integration of the CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® 2006 (CST MWS) simulation tool with Agilent Technologies' Advanced Design System (ADS) electronic design automation software. The automated co-simulation advances workflow integration for the RF and microwave design engineer working to improve passive circuit performance and increase confidence that manufactured products will perform optimally. This has been implemented as a direct result of the alliance and technical collaboration between Agilent and CST announced in June 2004.
CST previews new software release CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS) 2006 at MTT-S International Microwave Symposium 2005, booth #1147 Long Beach, California.
CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS), the market leading Time Domain 3D EM simulator, offers considerable technological advantages to Microwave and RF engineers. In its next release, as part of CST STUDIO SUITE™ 2006, it is accessible through the CST DESIGN ENVIRONMENT™ and includes new features and customer requested additions and enhancements which further extend CST MWS’ user friendliness and versatility.
New product simplifies analysis of charged particle dynamics
CST previews specialist product for the fast and accurate design and analysis of charged particle dynamics at PAC 2005, booth #8.
CST PARTICLE STUDIO™ (CST PS) will be used in the research and development of electron guns, high power tubes and magnetrons etc. Engineers in this area will benefit from the easy to use, intuitive interface and workflow integration capabilities already enjoyed by the high frequency community since 1998 through the market leading Time-Domain code CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS). The years of experience in fully self-consistent charged particle simulation, valued by users of the TS2/TS3 modules in CST’s MAFIA-4, combined with proprietary technologies such as the Perfect Boundary Approximation, PBA® , already applied in other members of the CST STUDIO SUITE™, place CST PS at the cutting edge of simulation technology.
Alliance gives engineers improved passive circuit performance, greater design confidence
PALO ALTO, Calif., and DARMSTADT, Germany, May 2, 2005, Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) and Computer Simulation Technology (CST) today announced two major advances in the integration of the CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS) simulation tool with Agilent's Advanced Design System (ADS) electronic design automation software. The integration helps RF and microwave designers improve passive circuit performance and increase confidence that manufactured products will perform optimally. These advances are implemented in the latest version of CST MWS as a direct result of the alliance and technical collaboration between Agilent and CST announced in June 2004.
Darmstadt, March 18, 2005 – CST today announces continued success of software products with a worldwide revenue increase of 39% in 2004 compared to calendar year 2003. The average annual growth rate has been 37,8% since 1997 and has established CST as the dominant market leader in 3D EM Time Domain simulation. At the same time the company has consistently grown, increasing from a 12 to a 80 person company. CST’s top product of 2004 was again CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® which was introduced in 1998 as the first member of the CST STUDIO SUITE™.
"We are pleased with the 2004 result as we are growing considerably faster than the overall 3D EM simulation market. This means we are not only benefiting from a strong demand for 3D EM software but also quickly gaining market share every year" said Bernhard Wagner, Managing Director, Sales and Marketing. "We were the first and are still the only vendor to offer time and frequency domain, hexahedral and tetrahedral meshing in one interface and this will guarantee our further expansion over the following years."
CST has published the agenda for its 2005 User Group meeting. Please click below to see the full agenda and to register for the event.
This promises to be an invaluable event for all engineers involved in 3D RF and microwave simulation.
Come and hear industry peers present their work and experience with our tools, find out about the latest STUDIO product line developments and influence the future direction of the software.
Training on new features will be offered and there will be plenty of opportunities for one-to-one interaction with CST engineers.
