The latest edition includes several new antennas and design updates.
Antenna Magus includes over 300 antennas, and the Specification-based workflow introduced in 2016 allows users to find, design and export suitable antennas based on their requirements. The 2017 version introduces 13 new types. Four specialized horn antennas have been added – the smooth spline profiled pyramidal horn, the 4 waveguide-fed dual polarized pyramidal horn antenna, the waveguide-fed pyramidal array and the TEM horn with magnetic dipoles (or “Koshelev antenna”).
Darmstadt, Germany, March 14 2017 – Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST) invites users to the European User Conference (EUC) 2017 at the Science & Congress Center darmstadtium, Darmstadt for a program of technical presentations and workshops. The conference will see keynote speeches on virtual environments, modern antenna design, lean engineering, and simulation in space programs.
The CST EUC offers a collaborative and educational environment where engineers using CST STUDIO SUITE® tools can exchange ideas and talk with CST staff about future developments. The main EUC sessions will run from April 27 - 28 and will feature focus sessions for different application areas, such as electromagnetic compatibility and antennas, and industries such as bio-medical devices and energy. In addition, on April 26, 2017, we will host a one-day Aerospace Workshop at the Science & Congress Center darmstadtium, with CST and customer presentations focused on the needs of the aerospace industry.

Darmstadt, Germany, July 15, 2016: CST – Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST) announces the acquisition of a source code license for the Portunus® system simulator, a product of Adapted Solutions GmbH and the start of a multi-year collaboration contract.
System simulation helps engineers working on applications such as electrical, energy systems, power electronics and drives with many elements interacting in multiple domains. The Portunus simulator models systems using approaches such as network, block diagram and state machine in order to simulate electrical, mechanical and thermal systems in time and frequency domain as well as for steady-state (DC calculation) and operating point (OP). It also supports VHDL-AMS and SPICE to exchange models with other simulation tools and offers comprehensive thermal and power electronics component libraries.
