Ilari Hänninen

Ilari Hänninen holds a Doctor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Aalto University, in Helsinki, Finland. Since 2008 he works for CST - Computer Simulation Technology AG in Darmstadt, Germany, as a Principal Engineer. His focus is on frequency domain solution methods for electromagnetic simulations and his interests also include large scale electromagnetic simulations and high performance computing.

Maxwell’s equations can be noted down in very compact form, but their application is - at almost all times - cumbersome. The solution is numerical simulation.
