CST – Computer Simulation Technology

New Features for Microwave and RF Simulation in CST Studio Suite 2015

 

From the first stages of design to the final optimization, CST Studio Suite® is an industry-standard electromagnetic (EM) simulation tool for microwave, radio frequency and optical product design. CST Studio Suite 2015 introduces several new features for the simulation of both individual components and full systems. This eSeminar will demonstrate new workflows that allow components and systems to be designed, simulated, analyzed and optimized efficiently.

Different components require different simulation methods and we will show how CST® tools can help companies achieve robust, integrated designs through various worked examples, including antenna array design, antenna installed performance and multiphysics analysis of high-power components.

Marc Rütschlin
  • Dr. Marc Rütschlin
  • grew up and studied in Stellenbosch, South Africa. After completing his PhD in Electronic Engineering, with a focus on dielectric material characterization, he did post-doctoral studies at NIST in Boulder, Colorado, and at the University of Karlsruhe in Germany, with a focus on electromagnetic wave propagation in buildings and small antenna design respectively. Marc joined CST - Computer Simulation Technology in January 2007, and currently works as global market development manager for microwave and RF applications from CST's UK office in Nottingham.
